You might need to do some paging/offset in your sql. The approach outlined above assumes loading the entire result set into memory, which could easily be a problem for larger data sets. If you need to display additional data in your search result page, simply collect the "id"s from the Hits, then fetch the data from the table and build the page from the resultset. ![]() Because Lucene is also very fast, this takes load off your database and is a good thing.
